Ada U Wicksall at the age of 20 marries Albert H Hinckley in Pine Grove Michigan with Will Wicksall as a witness. Two years later the
1880 United States Federal Census shows that Joseph has indeed moved the family north of Paw Paw to Pine Grove. Joseph is listed as a 43 years old widower born in Connecticut. His father’s birthplace is Scotland and his mother’s birthplace is New York. His occupation is still farmer. William Wicksall, now 18, is still with the family along with Ettie 16, Grace 13 and Guy 7. Also in 1880, Grace shows up on the
1880 United States Federal Census in Columbia Township, Van Buren County Michigan census enumerated on the 17th of June as a boarder living with Ada and Albert Hinckley.
On February 24th 1881
Vietta Wicksall married Andrew J Becker in Columbia Michigan. Andrew is a 34 year old farmer from Pine Grove while Vietta is 16 with her residence listed as Columbia. Witnesses to the marriage are Albert Hinckley and William Wicksall.
On November 26th 1882
William Hamlin Wicksall married Addie J (Jane Adelaide) Lytle in Breedsville Michigan. William is listed as a 21 year old farmer born in Kansas, Addie is 18 and the residence of both is listed as Breedsville. Breedsville is in the Columbia Township, Van Buren County. All of the Michigan Wicksalls are descendants of William Hamlin.
On February 25th 1886
Grace Wicksall married John Grills in Breedsville Michigan. John is a 28 year old farmer, Grace is 18 and both list Breedsville as their current residence. Witnesses are I. J. Howard and E. E. Brown of Breedsville.
